1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the mobile app “wotnware” and the website www.wotnware.com (together the “Service”), operated by [PLACEHOLDER: provider] (“we”). By registering you accept these terms.
2. Description of the Service
wotnware lets you discover and create events, reviews and discussions on a location-based map, connect with other users as friends and exchange messages. The Service is currently free of charge. We may change, extend or discontinue features at any time.
3. Registration and account

- Registration details must be truthful; one account per person.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in the app.
4. User content
You retain the rights to the content you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, automatically translate and display this content to other users within the Service. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights and do not infringe third-party rights.
5. Rules of conduct
In particular, the following is prohibited:
- unlawful, insulting, discriminatory, violence-glorifying or pornographic content,
- harassment, threats or stalking of other users,
- spam, advertising without our consent, misleading events or reviews,
- publishing personal data of third parties without their consent,
- circumventing technical protection measures, automated access, tampering with device integrity checks.
Violations may lead to removal of content, temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account. Users can report content and other users in the app; we review reports promptly.
6. Location data
The core features process your location. You control the system permissions and the visibility of your location to friends. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and outages may cause restrictions.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. We assume no responsibility for content of other users – in particular event details.
9. Termination
You may end your use at any time by deleting your account. We may terminate the agreement with [PLACEHOLDER: 14] days’ notice or without notice in case of serious violations.
10. Changes
We may amend these terms with effect for the future. We will inform you of material changes in the app; if you do not object within [PLACEHOLDER: 4] weeks, the changes are deemed accepted.
11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
